ATI4890 Bios voltset Guide

A little quick guide to the bios mod on ATI4890

open RBE 1.21 tool and GPUTOOL

read BIOS org: Bios in RBE

Set volte in GPUTOOL

open voltage register .. and write in 0x18 the same as you set GPUTOOL to

then open in hex rbetool and put a checkbox in the Voltage Register and press GO
and press OK (applies changse)

save bios

It is marked with dark blue, will not change, but when i open GPUTOOL next time after the flash, it is with yoù new voltset

This looks like after my flash before va gpuen max of 930 but now it is 1000, so now to just make a new bios with more volts.
whit softmod before I ned 1.4125v to dov 1000MHZ on the gpu,so it is an improvement.
fan 45% to all 3D-mark test/Game.

Does not work, nothing changes. I did the following:

1. Opened bios in RBE
2. Set voltage in GPUTool to 1.3625 -> Apply
3. Changed register 0x18 in RBE to 1.3625 -> Okay
4. View hex dump in RBE -> select 'votage registers' -> GO -> Okay
5. Save bios, flash with Winflash, restart.

No change in voltage, still 1.131 in GPUTool/RBE/GPU-Z? What's missing?

here is a mode bios attached to my post

I saw your bios in RBE and indeed 0x18 is higher voltage. I'll have to force flash because of different vendor but will report back with my findings. Thank you again!

Your Bios works great, voltage is at 1.3625
