MSI sent us a mouse, not the usual hardware we make reviews of here on the site.
But it does have a overclockable look huh? Maybe we can overclock it later to 5000DPI ?
dpi switch on the fly, possible to add more weight, okay quiet a lot more features...
My old ones is a MS IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0 and a Logitech MX510, both still alive after years of daily use.

Hmm how to test a mouse was my first thought, i am not the big gamer anymore but i do know how a mouse should do in FPS games,
as i have gamed a lot in the past.
Tested it on a old Black Icemat, the one made of glass, and a STEELPAD S&S, hard plastic.
Tested in the games i have played lately:
Call of Duty 4
Crysis
Rainbow Six Las Vegas 2
Lost Planet Extreme Condition
Counter-Strike
I also used some time in PhotoShop and of course normal desktop use..
It didn't take long for my hand to get used to the slightly different shape,
in fact i like it better than my Mx510, more comfortable.
The DPI button is a nice feature over my old mouse, especially in games,
ex. switching between a shotgun for fast close combat or a sniper rifle for a slow and precision movement.
I also tested with some extra weight added, but i personally like the mouse more when its just light,
but that is really up to the user and also a nice feature.
I haven't used the programmable thumb buttons so much, its a bit annoying they
don't work like "mouse 3 and 4" like my old mouses, u have to give the buttons a macro command
in the Gaming Mouse software before u can use them in games, and what work in one game, might not work in another.
Hope a future software update will make it more userfriendly, or maybe its just me who having a hard time figuring it out hehe.
Another thing i like is the 1.5 meter long wire.
So the overall statement is a very nice mouse with a lot features, and a super precision for the gamer and desktop user.
